    Students will compare an original work with a second work that references it heavily.

    Structure:

    A familiarity with the original Robinson Crusoe can only deepen students' reading of Foe. As such, this activity will ensure that your class understands the most salient details about Defoe's work as they begin studying Coetzee's.
