Ezra Pound: Poems Lesson Plan

Bringing in Technology

Throughout the study of Ezra Pound's poetry, students with disabilities should have the option of using dictation software for writing assignments, and text-to-speech software for reading assignments, or any other ADA-mandated technological accommodations.

In the Day 1 activity, "Comparing Representations of Greek Mythology," students will watch a video about the myth of Apollo and Daphne and compare representations of the same story in the visual arts that they find online.

In the Day 2 activity, "Exploring Imagism," students will use online drawing tools to create a visualization of "In the Station of a Metro" and share their work with their classmates in a virtual space such as Google...
