Civil Disobedience Lesson Plan

Bringing in Technology

Throughout the study of"Civil Disobedience," students with disabilities should have the option of using dictation software for writing assignments, text-to-speech software for reading assignments, or any other ADA-mandated technological accommodations.

Many of the classroom activities in this lesson plan incorporate technology, especially for research and presentation purposes.

Day 1: Students will use the internet to research the Fugitive Slave Act. They will use projection software to aid in their presentations on poetry, and should be given the option to use design software to aid in making a newspaper.
