Loving with conditions

Love is a natural feeling extended unconditionally from one person to the other. When the narrator gets her first boyfriend, she expects him to love her without conditions. More importantly, the narrator is passionate about reading and writing, expecting her lover to understand her. However, the narrator's boyfriend loves the narrator, but he hates her writing career. According to the narrator's boyfriend, writing is a waste of time in their relationship.

A shelve full of empty books

One shocking thing is that one can fill his library shelves with books that contain blank pages. Normally, a book should have writings to convey certain information. Ironically, this is not the case with Tarquin, an affluent protagonist in one of the favorite books that the narrator reads. Tarquin is rich, but his passion for reading books with blank pages is astonishing. The shelves in Tarquin’s library are full of books with blank pages.

Camouflaging with the aim of success

One trait of the narrator when she is first introduced is her clandestine behavior. The only thing visible with the narrator is her love for books, but whatever she does with the information she reads is guarded. For instance, the narrator hides the picture and narration about her teacher at the back of her book. Sardonically, the narrator hopes that one day everyone in the world will know about her writing career, but she is currently hiding her talent from everyone.
