    What is some of the imagery that Curtis uses to describe the Sweet Pea restaurant? How does this enhance your reading?

    Students should refer back to Chapters 14 and 15 to reference examples round the smells, sounds, and taste of Sweet Pea that Bud describes upon entering. What kind of food is there? What are people doing? How is the restaurant set up? What did Bud say it smelled like? Did it make them remember a restaurant they had been to and visualize being there as they read? As students answer these questions and provide examples, they should also describe how it made them feel as they read about the Sweet Pea.
