Vision blurry, fastened heartbeat, confused & humid head. There’s an excruciating pain all over my body and fear has engulfed my heart. The sun aggressively embraces my eyes. I raise my right hand to block the light, simultaneously bringing my left hand to open the helmet visor. I struggle and finally open the visor. Dust and dirt gush towards my face along with the wind; I instinctively close my eyes, and my nose picks up a nauseating scent of rotting/boiled garbage cast aside without a second thought.

Soon my ears pick up the footsteps of people approaching me. When I finally turn my head to investigate the clamor, I freeze at the sight of my motorbike on the ground, all dented and scratched. Chills run down my spine as I come to the realization of my fatal accident. I try recalling what had happened; my mind replays the moment a scooter grazed the right handlebar in its selfish attempt to overtake me, resulting in my crash landing.

Now, I lay in the middle of the road, helpless as a stray dog, expecting help. But contrary to my expectations all I saw was people chatting, murmuring, and filming the horror of my situation. This stage setup in front of me raises dread and hopelessness in my heart. This spine-tingling...
