I Hope To Go To Medical School

Oh, The Places You'll Go is one of the most popular books by ''Dr. Seuss'' (Theodore Seuss Geisel, Dartmouth Class of 1925). Where do you hope to go? What aspects of Dartmouth's curriculum or community might help you get there? Please respond in 100 words or less.

Growing up, I loved to watch magicians. Amazed at their impossible tricks, I wanted to be a magician myself. Then, I discovered medicine. Pulling cards out of thin air? I studied penicillin instead. Levitating objects? The respiratory system was more interesting.

Medicine became the new “magic” for me. Now, I am confident that Dartmouth will help me in my journey to becoming a physician. Knowing that the D-Plan allows a flexible calendar, I want to study abroad at places like Costa Rica and take internships for my goal.
