BU For A Day

What about being a student at Boston University most excites you?


Walking down Commonwealth Avenue for the first time in February, I was not expecting to run into my high school friends, Felex and Adam. After a day of information sessions and tours, I yearned to experience the real BU and asked them for an inside view of campus. During our walk through Questrom and BU Beach, I told them that I was set on a career that mixed finance, mathematics, and technology.

BU os the right piece for my puzzle because I could double major in Business Administration (Strategy and Innovation concentration) at Questrom and Economics and Mathematics at the College of Arts and Sciences. I was drawn by the blend of business and liberal arts and by courses that were outside of the lens of classical finance such as the dynamics of leading organizations, build your career toolkit, strategy innovation and global competition. I reminded my friends that I am also a passionate traveler and at BU I would push myself to travel to new destinations such as Shangai, China while enrolled in finance courses through Questrom’s study abroad program.
