The team, which was never close, experienced a bigger division. The boys were divided over what happened to Rashad, who was to blame, and they brought it with them to practice..... there was no cohesion. The team is not a team, it is divided in world view and divided along racial lines. Basketball is not the most important thing on their minds..... racial profiling and injustice is at the forefront. When coach forbids his players to attend the march, the divide becomes even greater. Quinn refuses to comply.
