Why was the section on actual fire so short in the story, Flesh and Blood So Cheap: The Triangle Fire and Its Legacy by Albert Marrin?

The fire itself is a fact, but what is important is the causes and the aftermath. We know about the loss of life.... now we know the contributing factors to the disaster.
