Students will get into the spirit of the adventurous side of Equiano's participation in his Arctic voyage.

Structure:
The Arctic voyage was one of the most glamorous parts of Equiano's narrative. At this time, Arctic explorers had a near-rock star status. Their exploits were published and widely read, and the discovery of a northwest passage would have influenced the course of global trade.
