theme of love in wuthering heights

Wuthering Heights is not a typical love story, of course. After all, the romancing characters spend most of their time trying to bring ruin upon their respective counterpart. Nevertheless, love is a distinguishing feature of the story because it drives the character's passionate action--even if that passionate action manifests itself as hatred.
