Brean needs to find a solution to the President's advance upon an under-aged girl before it goes public. Ironically, he turns to Hollywood to create a fake story to be played as real news.
CIA
The CIA is after Brean and eventually catches up to him believing that the war in Albania is fake. Ironically, they aren't after him to stop the war but because they are on the side of the President's opponent running against him in the election who wants them to destroy the President by revealing the truth to the public.
Motss
Motss has completed his job with the fake war successfully. Ironically, he is the casualty of the war as he demands to be publicly recognized for his efforts to save the President's polling numbers. Because of this Brean order him to be killed.
War Hero
Schuman becomes a soldier who has been a prisoner of war during the fake Albanian U.S. war. He's been made out to be a hero by the media. Ironically, he is a mentally unstable Army convict who attempts to rape a man's daughter after a plane crash.
Media
The media is the outlet that is supposed to point the truth to the public for all to see. Ironically, it is not whether or not the news is truth but rather whether it will get ratings.
