What is the theme of Ulysses?
I know one is that Gods honor courage, but punish pride...... any other thoughts on it?

The Quest for Paternity
Ulysses is a book about Stephen’s search for a symbolic father and Bloom’s search for a son. Stephen already has a biological father, Simon Dedalus, but considers him a father only in “flesh.”

Tracy- I think I'm thinking of a different book... I need to know the theme of "The Adventures of Ulysses" by Bernard Evslin. Thanks anyways.
