Hallowed; blessed; sanctified.

incandescence

Brilliance, a beaming lustre; shining and luminous.

diapidated

Crumbling and broken-down; in a state of disrepair; aged and overlooked.

treacherous

Dangerous and risky; perilously adventurous; capable of betrayal.

doleful

Mournful, sad and down-in-the-dumps.

oppressive

Brutally domineering; repressively tyrannical.

Ramazan

More typically known as Ramadan: the month in the Islamic calendar commemorating the revelation of the Koran to the prophet Muhammad and marked by fasting and other forms of self-discipine.

A prolonged but finite period of time during which all or certain types or amounts of food or drink are removed from one's normal diet, usually in observance of a religious or spiritual ritual.

To persuade through coaxing; a type of seducing as a means of getting one's way.

despair

An overwhelming sense of hopelessness; a despondent state in one is incapable of seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.
