Name and describe the antagonist in this story?

Edwin Epps is the primary antagonist in the novel, Twelve Years a Slave. He is Solomon's second owner..... a cruel, ruthless, and abusive man, who believe that beaking a man signaled victory. He was also an alcoholic, who indulged in immoral, sexually abusive against the slaves.
