Why does Maria call Andrew a silly knight?

Maria is talking to Sir Toby Belch about his shoddy attire and his excessive drinking. Sir Toby says that if people find him not good enough for company, "let them hang themselves in their own straps." Maria calls him a "foolish knight" and says that his drinking will be his undoing.
