Why do you think that the caption came to th admiral benbow inn

In chapter one, we do not yet know much about the Captain. Of course we find out later about the map and the Captain's enemies. I thought the Captain had come for a place to stay and get drunk. I knew he was hiding something but I was not sure what it was until we find out.
