how are the conflicts resolved in touching spirit bear?

Through the guidance of Edwin and Garvey as well as Cole's near death experience with the spirit bear, Cole is able to begin again. He is emotionally and physically broken down. He begins to build himself up again with humility and without the anger that once plagued his soul. By the end of the book, Cole has begun to serve others instead of just himself. He understands where his anger had come from and begins to forgive instead of punish.
