The speaker regrets that she is not what she used to be in her childhood. She didn't fulfill her dream of building a factory of ice lollies because she now became an adult. The poet also remembers her early years when she was an adolescent. She misses those silly and adventurous games that gave her joy. Childhood is a golden part of a person's life, full of comfort and without any responsibility.
