Why is Scout curious about things? How does this make her a unique character?

Scout isn't necessarily unique because she's curious..... most children are curious. What makes Scout unique is her perception and willingness to listen. She isn't afraid to make mistakes or to say she's wrong, that's what makes her special..... unique.
