Between Aunt Alexandra and Atticus.
Aunt Alexandra tries to instill family pride into the children, but this way of perceiving the world is just not something they are accustomed to--especially since Atticus had already told the children about his wild adventures after college--adventures that would undermine the majestic serenity with which Alexandra was trying to paint their heritage.
