Why does Miss Caroline disapprove of Scout reading with her father?

Miss. Caroline disapproves because Atticus is not a teacher, and therefore, he is not qualified to teach her to read. 

"Miss Caroline told me to tell my father not to teach me any more, it would interfere with my reading."
