Black men are not supposed to feel sorry for white women! It is an age old social rule.

THere is the ugly sense that black men were not worthy of or were dangerous to white women.

This was unheard of......blacks were considered second class citizens, it would have been unheard of for a black to feel sorry for a white person to have "felt sorry," for anyone who was white, regardless of class.
