What is your opinion of how Link Deas deals with Bob Ewell?

Link tells Bob Ewell to leave Mrs. Robinson alone. Link is an example of Southern sensibilities which transcend bigotry. He may not be able to communicate like Atticus but he is outspoken in his defense of Helen and, in that, condemnation of Ewewll's wonton ignorance and bigotry.
