To Kill a Mockingbird

What is the truth about Arthur Radley?

Like the behavior, the things he's done and why people are saying old Radley died and blah blah blah.

Scout often breaks narrative to explain actually what happened to Arthur. Basically, as a boy, he got in trouble with the law so his father locked him in the house for 15 years. He then stabbed his father with scissors. When his father died, his brother Nathan moved in and carried on shutting Boo inside. Boo, like Tom Robinson, is a benevolent spirit. He represents the opposite of what childish rumours and town gossip would have you believe.

Rumors had it for a long time: Boo Radley was a troubled boy when he was younger. He drove scissors into his father's leg.
