What does Mr.Radley’s reaction to the “prowlers” tell you about him? What does it tell you about his neighbors?

Mr. Radley seems to have had enough of people inquisitive about his life. He has probably dealt with a generation of kids lurking around his yard. He might even think there are people trying to rob him. In the end, Mr. Radley's extreme reaction is really just a plea to be left alone.
