What did Scout make Uncle Jack promise not to say anything to Atticus?

Francis, Aunt Alexandra's grandson, calls Atticus a "nigger lover". Scout of course beats him up. Later Scout makes Uncle Jack promise not to tell Atticus what Francis said. Atticus had asked his kids not to react over what is said about his role in the trial. Both Scout and Jem hate to let their father down in any way.
