What are you trying to prove?

Atticus is intelligent, calm, reasonable and caring- proof of this lies in the fact that Maycomb's citizens come to him when they're in need of help.

He believes in justice no matter the cost, and he follows his conscience in when it goes against the grain of the people in his community. This is proven by his defense of Tom Robinson.
