Dill and Francis are very different boys. Dill is like a mix between Jem and Scout. Dill has the imagination of Scout and the some of Jem's altruistic Atticus-like traits. Francis was quite a rotten kid. He personified the racism and ignorance of the white population entrenched in their bigotry.
