Jem and Scout had assumed that the knot-hole was someone's hiding place. What evidence now suggest that the items in the tree are meant specifically for Scout and Jem?

If you examine at the "gifts" in the Knot hole you can see they were meant for Scout and Jem (little boy and girl)

-the soap carvings of Scout and Jem, Chewing gum, broken watch...
