This chapter chronical the aftermath of the trial. In particular we are shown that Bob Ewell is not coping well now that his brief notoriety is over. He begins to overstep boundaries even for him. His taunting of Judge Taylor and Helen Robinson ratchet up the tension and foreshadow more ominous problems ahead.
