Boo’s interaction with the kids in to kill a mocking bird

the Kids wanted to see what boo looked like so they put a note on a fishing line. How does that show the kids lack of understanding of boo's prespecive.

Boo actually finds the whole spectacle funny. Boo is childlike and kind. He laughs at events like Scout in the tire. He is far from the "monster" that the children imagine him to be.
