why do you think jack london keeps repeating the fact that its so cold! what do you predict this will mean in the story
London repeatedly refers to the cold to inform the reader of the dangers, and to make the reader aware of the man's mistakes.... his inexperience, and his bad choices. Over the course of the story, we know the man's refusal to take advice will be responsible for his end.
