What can we learn from this book???

What we can learn through the man's journey and subsequent death is;

1) not to assume we're invincible

2) to listen to those more experienced than we are

3) to understand mother nature always has one-up on us as humans

4) to adhere to and pat close attention to the natural instincts of animals
