This depends on how you define strength. Okonkwo defines himself through masculinity. He overcompensates throughout the story to prove he is not "weak". This, in the end, is largely his undoing. He pushes any legitimate love away from him in order to look strong. His obsession with masculine strength turns out to be his greatest weakness. Okonkwo is unable to cope with emotions and change.

Okonkwo's tragic flaw is his fear of weakness and failure. In his thirties, Okonkwo is a leader of the Igbo community of Umuofia. ... However, Okonkwo overcompensates for his father's womanly (weak) ways, of which he is ashamed, because he does not tolerate idleness or gentleness
