ch 6 what do you think this short chapter contibutes to the story?

The main contribution of Chapter Six to the novel as a whole is to educate the reader about Igbo life and culture. It is meant to make us understand the people and conflicts, and also to respect them. This knowledge allows the reader to truly understand the end of the story and hopefully illicit empathy for the people.
