After HW's decision, Daniel is drunk and barely able to walk(why he reacts like that and what does he feels at that time ) is it because of anger?

HW has just told Daniel that he wants to move to Mexico and look for oil. This would make HW Daniel's competition. Daniel sees this as a betrayal. He is angry at his son. I think, on a deeper level, he is angry with himself for not being able to achieve a relationship with his son.
