how does janies relationship with joe appear to be positive for her?

In the specific chapter, there reaaly aren't any positive notes in their relationship outside of the fact that Joe is proving to be an excellent provider for Janie. Unfortunately, she wants a husband, and although she doesn't attempt to assert herself on an equal footing, she does yearn for some sort of partnership with her husband.
