Describe the narrator’s state after the first two weeks of resistance

After two weeks of the treatment the narrator has lost her desire to write, suffers from exhaustion, and admits to be too nervous to take care of their child.

As a result, the relationship between John and his wife has become even more strained. She is angry at John for his lack of understanding, and yet, she also feels guilty for being a burden to her family.
