Bringing in Technology

Throughout the study of The Year of Magical Thinking, students with disabilities should have the option of using dictation software for writing assignments, text-to-speech software for reading assignments, or any other ADA-mandated technological accommodations.

Many of the classroom activities in this lesson plan incorporate technology, especially for research and presentation purposes.

Days 1 and 2: Students will watch the Netflix documentary Joan Didion: The Center Cannot Hold and use the internet to research obituaries.
