In context, these are Grace Wexler's thoughts when her husband doesn't show up for the reading of Westing's will. Grace claims to be Westing's niece, which is doubtful. She isn't, however, concerned about her "uncle's" fate or his murderer. She is concerned with the money her husband forfeited by not showing up.
