What happens when loyalty is unquestioned ?

When loyalty goes unquestioned you have an immediate lack of freedom or expression. This is exactly what fuels totalitarian states like the Nazis in WW2. Compassion, individual conscience, and healthy debate are important casualties of unquestioned loyalty.
