Mr. Ross becomes so immersed in his own experiment that the little things in his own life are set aside. He, like his students, undergoes a change as a result of the project. He begins to speak about his class as if they were superior, and he neglects his own household. Christy, his wife, warns “maybe you’re becoming a guinea pig in your own experiment”.
