Love

In comparison with Goodness, Evil is the character that thrives the most in the poems. Evil is described as being fat, prospering and being omnipotent in the lives of the people. the author mentions her hope that Evil will one day lose its power and that Goodness will thrive once more.

The four names appear in the second poem and are used to make reference to different deities coming from different religious confessions. The reason why the author mentions the names is because she wants to highlight the idea that during the war, no Gods could save the people or provide them with the protection they needed from the horrors of the war.
