I suppose he is but he is misguided. Jagan is a symbol of traditionalism. Throughout his life, Jagan strictly followed his cultural beliefs to the extent that he refused modern medication. When Jagan’s wife fell ill, he refused to give her modern medication. Instead, he relied on traditional herbs, and he believed that the human body naturally could resist illness. Unfortunately, his wife died.
