While the men are drinking, Caliban talks about Prospero's tyranny, followed by Ariel's appearance, and her additional comments that are meant to further rile up the group. In the end, Caliban hatches a plot to murder Prospero, promising Stephano that he can rule the island, marry Miranda, and that he (Caliban) will become his servant.
