How are Stephano and Trinculo distracted from their plot? What does this show about their natures? What does Caliban think about their behavior?

Stephano and Trinculo complain about the smell and the loss of their wine in the swamp. They also both notice the gaudy clothing and are distracted. They begin to try it on making plans to steal it. Caliban grows increasingly anxious that these guys are never going to carry out the plan. The two men are rather buffoonish and really interested in the moment’s pleasures or displeasures rather than any greater plan.
