The Tales of Ueda Akinari Summary

The Tale of Moonlight and Rain, written by a Japanese writer Ueda Akinari, has nine gothic stories, based on popular folklore of China and Japan. The title of the book Ugetsu Monogatari represents the symbol of rain and moon: the premonition of supernatural beings.
