What was the Kyd's purpose of using different languages in the play within a play?

At the end of the spanish tragedy, Kyd's use different languages in the play within a play and asks Baltazare, Lorenzo, and Bell Imperia to say their plays in diggerent languages, which they even did not know the language. What was the purpose of using this different languages?
